Intimidated to Walk Into a Jewellery Store? Let's Talk Expectations
Do you ever find yourself walking into a Jewellery store and knowing exactly where to start? Chances are, you're part of the larger group of people who find it a bit confusing, if not intimidating, to walk into a Jewellery store. You're confident you want something, but where do you start your shopping experience. We're here to help.
We will talk about what you need to know and what to expect from your local Jewellers. The jewellery shopping experience should be simple, so it becomes that much more exciting when you get what you've wanted for so long already!
What You Need to Know
Walking into your local jewellery store's showroom, you can guarantee one thing for sure: there's a ton of jewels everywhere. Sometimes it looks overwhelming, but that's the whole idea. All jokes aside, a well-organized store is typically also a well-organized jeweller. In the A&A Showroom, you'll find a station organized with Chains, Earrings and Bracelets. Use the stations to try something on during your visit, giving you the perfect opportunity to tailor a look just for you. If you don't have extra tools at your disposal, work with a Jeweller that knows how to fit you with the jewels they have.
Authenticity
Let's talk authenticity. If there's no stamp, it's a telling sign of things to come. Jewellers will stamp a piece of jewellery to identify both metal and purity at the same time. See the chart below.
The chart gives you the types of stamps you can find with their coordinating Metal Type and Purity Level
The only exception to the rule is small, more delicate jewellery where a stamp can't fit. Should you ever want to verify the metal(s) or gemstone(s) your jeweller claims, a certificate of authenticity or a jewellery appraisal will always suffice.
Customizations
Customizing jewellery is more popular than you may think. When you decide on the piece, may it be a ring or bracelet, additional customizations are so common you would be surprised. However, having something Made to Order is what keeps us busy at A&A. You get to tailor jewellery to your imagination using our 3-step approach. The best part, you're in charge of every detail, putting you in the driver's seat and getting you the result you're searching for.

Customer Satisfaction
While every jeweller views Customer Satisfaction through a different lens, the core values you should find are organization, structure, simplicity, reliability, and, above all, honesty; the A&A values. You need to feel that confidence from start to finish and, more than anything, you should expect it from your jeweller. When you visit your jeweller, every step you go through with them should have a multi-step plan and follow up to fulfill your skepticism.
We mention the idea of an exciting and straightforward shopping experience; it starts with the business's core values assisting you on your journey. Even if you have a mounting list of questions and none of this seems simple enough, ask those questions. If we're talking about trusting your Jeweller, shouldn't they be okay with your curiosity?
If you find yourself needing a bit of that assistance, you're not far away at all. Whether a Virtual Consultation or in-store visit, you can depend on the experts at A&A Jewels Co. Schedule a session with an expert to help ease the whole shopping experience and get rid of all that intimidation already! Contact us today!
