How do payments with Affirm work?

You will configure your plan and subsequently set up monthly pre-authorized payments using either a Visa/MasterCard Credit Card or a Debit Card (carrying a Visa/MasterCard logo).

What is the payment frequency?

During the Affirm configuration, you can choose your monthly installment frequency and/or plan based on your purchase amount.

Who can apply?

Payment plans through Affirm are available to all Canadian permanent resident or citizen - 18 years of age (AB, MB, ON, PEI, QC, SK)/ 19 Years of age (BC, NB, NF, NT, NS, NU, YK). In order to apply, additional requirements included:

• A Visa/Mastercard Credit Card or Debit Card with a Visa or MasterCard logo - Prepaid cards are not accepted
• A Text Message (SMS) Canadian telephone number
• A minimum purchase amount required to use Affirm's payment options.

Affirm Terms and Conditions

You can finance your purchase of Jewellery from A&A Jewels Co. upon approval using Affirm. All purchase payments installments are facilitated through Affirm and, such transaction is subject to approval by Affirm based on the conditions, sumarized below:

• Payment options through Affirm Canada Holdings Ltd. (“Affirm”). Your rate will be 0–31.99% APR (where available and subject to provincial regulatory limitations). APR offered is based on creditworthiness and subject to an eligibility check. Not all customers will be eligible for 0% APR. Payment options depend on your purchase amount, may vary by merchant, and may not be available in all provinces/territories. Actual payment option terms will be shown at checkout. A down payment (or a payment due today) may be required. Affirm accepts debit cards and PAD as forms of repayment on payment options. Select payment options may be eligible for repayment in the form of credit cards. Please review the terms and conditions of your credit card when using it as a form of repayment. Sample payment options may be: a $800 purchase could be split into 12 monthly payments of $72.21 at 15% APR, or 4 interest-free payments of $200 every 2 weeks. Affirm is an independent company and A&A Jewels Co. has no influence on your request for a payment plan. Approval is made solely by Affirm.

After Your Purchase

Can I cancel my order after purchase?

Yes. You may cancel your order as long as the item has not been shipped. If the order is cancelled, no payments will be made to Affirm as the transaction would be cancelled. If the item is Shipped/Delivered, use our Refund Policy for more information.

Can I prepay my balance?

Yes, all Affirm balances can be prepaid without any penalty. Contact Affirm for details.

How do I access my Affirm account?

Upon completion of your transaction with Affirm, you can access your account using their online portal. 

Additional Questions

How do Refunds work with Affirm services?

Any purchase made through Affirm are still subject to the A&A Jewels Co. Refund Policy. If you need to complete a Refund request, you will process your request through A&A Jewels Co. Subsequently, your Affirm loan will be cancelled. Should there be any circumstance where payments have been made in advance, those payments will also be refunded to you.

I was not able to secure financing with Affirm.

Unfortunately, Affirm doesn't provide payment plans to all applicants. While there are varying factors to their decision, you may find more information on this by contacting Affirm directly. 

Affirm is suggesting my request implies a security risk.
